On Wednesday's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, Stanley Johnson became the fifth star to leave the Australian jungle.

The 77-year-old appeared on both Good Morning Britain and Lorraine to talk about his elimination and time on the show.

However, on GMB, Stanley made a rather awkward mistake as he asked about his son, Boris Johnson, who is currently Foreign Secretary: "What, is Boris still Prime Minister?"

But later on, while talking to Lorraine Kelly, he admitted about the blunder: "Oh my god, that was a slip of the tongue.

While he went on to share a sweet message her had received from his son about leaving the series.

He said: "Now we've exchanged a WhatsApp, he said: 'Good show dad, everyone is rooting for you.'

"Yeah, of course I got it wrong about being Prime Minister – slip of the tongue, slip of the tongue!"

Upon leaving the jungle, Stanley admitted that he was 'gutted to be out', but added that he'd had a 'wonderful time' in the jungle.

Explaining why he chose to take part on the show in the first place, Stanley added: "Look, I always say yes to things, and I couldn't conceivably see why I shouldn't.

"I love being in wonderful, empty places with only a few people."
