JEREMY McConnell has met his son with Stephanie Davis for the first time.
The Irish model reportedly flew to Liverpool to meet four-week-old Caben-Albi at the weekend.
A source said to The Sun that Jeremy also got on “extremely well” with ex girlfriend Steph.
“Jeremy spent the weekend in Liverpool and finally got to meet his son for the first time – and spent some time with Steph too,” they said.
“It was an emotional reunion between him and Stephanie but close pals were glad to see the pair finally putting their past behind him.
“Caben is well and truly their priority now.
“Nothing else matters other than the health and happiness of the baby.”
The source continued: “Stephanie and Jeremy are back on speaking terms.
“They’re trying to rebuild a civilised relationship for the sake of Caben – they both knew that the situation had to change for things to move forward.
“It’s going to be a slow process but they’re gradually heading in the right direction.”
It comes after Jeremy took a DNA test live on This Morning to prove he is the little tot’s father.
After discovering the happy news, Jez posted a close-up picture of Caben on Twitter.
“Happiest man alive, my new focus,” he told his 329k Twitter followers.
“I’ll love this monkey with every bit of me.”
He was later spotted out celebrating the news by drinking in the pub with his pals.
Stephanie gave birth to Caben, who weighed 6lb 10oz, on January 13.
Exclusively introducing him to OK! Magazine, Steph discussed her life as a single parent.
“I’ll cope on my own. It makes me sad that I can’t give Caben the happy family life that I have.”
