Urban Decay‘s badass founder Wende Zomnir just teased its latest product launch on Instagram and people are pumped. The brand, which just re-launched all of its lipsticks not too long ago, is now giving lip gloss a similar treatment.
Choosing a lip gloss is often a game of tradeoffs — do you go for the sexy, high-shine formula that’s sticky as hell or the formula that feels hydrating but disappears into your skin? Maybe you want all the shine of a gloss without forgoing the pigment punch of a cream formula. Or perhaps you find yourself constantly reapplying because your favorite formula won’t stay put. Well, you might finally be able to break the cycle of frustration thanks to Urban Decay’s new gloss, which according to Zomnir, feels as good as it looks.
Zomnir teased Urban Decay’s new Hi-Fi Shine Ultra Cushion Lip Gloss ($20) on Instagram today and people are already freaking out over the new launch. “Finally, a gloss that’s sexy and comfy at the same time,” Zomnir wrote. On top of that, it won’t feather or bleed and “instantly makes lips look plumper,” she said.
Now, let’s talk finish. From the looks of it, Hi-Fi Shine lives up to its name for an anything-but-understated glossy shine. According to Zomnir’s post, the gloss comes in four finishes: metallic, holographic, cream, and sheer cream. With 18 high-impact shades — such as Goldmine, a blinding gold glitter; Big Bang, a Barbie-esque hot pink shimmer; Jawbreaker, an attention-getting ultraviolet; Midnight Cowgirl, a sexpot nude; or Beso, a so-not-shy shade of deep mauve — there’s no need for tradeoffs.
The catch? This is only a tease. The gloss isn’t available yet, but is dropping “soon.” We’ll update this post when we hear more.
